The Outboard Gateway from Yacht Devices is designed to connect petrol outboards without digital interfaces to your NMEA2000 network.
The outboard gateway allows the display of engine parameters including revolutions (RPM), alternator (measured at the NMEA2000 interface) and engine hours. Additional parameters are available with extra Yacht Devices sensors connected to the outboard.
Outboard Gateway Features
- Easy connection to outboard spark plug lead
- Little or no programming required
- Suits 2 and 4 stroke outboards
- Does not require electric start outboard to operate
- Powered from the NMEA 2000 network. No other power source is required.
Why do I need an outboard gateway?
- Cost effective way to track engine hours and RPM on smaller outboards
- If using a Wi-Fi Gateway in conjunction with the gateway you can view engine data on iPad, tablets and mobile devices.
- Allows all older 2-stroke and 4-stroke outboards to connect to the latest chart plotters for data display
