The Yacht Devices Wi-Fi Gateway and Wi-Fi Router both allow you to access your boats onboard data over a Wi-Fi connection.

If your onboard network is all NMEA2000 already or you have older protocols (NMEA1083 or Seatalk 1) already converted to NMEA 2000 than the Wi-Fi Gateway is the ideal choice.
If you have existing NMEA0183 instruments and/or Seatalk 1 devices as well as NMEA2000 than the Wi-Fi router is the product for you.
The Wi-Fi Router includes 2 x NMEA0183 ports and 1 x Seatalk 1 port that operate in a bi-directional way, meaning that data from the NMEA2000 network is translated and transmitted on the NMEA0183 or Seatalk 1 port if it makes sense to do so.
The Wi-Fi Router includes a customizable filter to control data flows between the different protocols to ease congestion when used in large networks. For example, there may be no reason to transmit data back to the 2nd NMEA0183 port as the instrument connected cannot use the data, so disabling this data flow will help with the performance of the Wi-Fi Router.
The Wi-Fi Gateway is available with either a standard NMEA2000 (DeviceNet) connector or the Raymarine SeatalkNG connector, however the Wi-Fi Router is only available with the standard NMEA2000 (DeviceNet) connector.
