The NMEA 2000 Exhaust Gas Sensor from Yacht Devices is a highly accurate sensor for extremely hot gases, solids and liquids in the range from 0 to 800 degC
By default the sensor is displayed as air temperature however this can be easily configured to descriptions like “Exhaust Temperature”, “Hot water system Temperature”, “Engine Room Temperature” to suit the desired location or piece of equipment you want to read the temperature from.
Installation is as easy as plugging the sensor into your NMEA 2000 backbone for temperature data to be available on a connected chart plotter.
Exhaust Gas Sensor Features
- Provides temperature readings in the range of 0 to 800 degC
- Configurable description for accurate use in measuring other temperatures onboard.
- Logs the previous 48 hours of data to internal memory
- Plug and play operation
- Accuracy of +/- 5.5 degC up to 330 degC and +/- 11.5 degC at 800 degC
- Multiple Exhaust Gas Sensors can be used on a single NMEA 2000 network displaying temperatures from different pieces of equipment or locations.
- Powered from the NMEA 2000 network. No other power source is required.
